Congratulations to Krista Wahlstrom, a graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. Ryan LaLumiere, for receiving an NIH Outstanding Scholars in Neuroscience Award. This award recognizes and supports those conducting exceptional research across the United States and have great academic potential in their training. As part of this award, Krista will travel to NIH in Bethesda, MD, for an all-day program where she will meet with NIH leadership, investigators, staff, and trainees to learn about the resources and research conducted at NIH. She will also be able to present her research at NIH.

Krista began her Ph.D. studies in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences in August 2015.
