The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is delighted to announce that Brett Bahle is the co-recipient of the 2020 D.C. Spriestersbach Distinguished Dissertation Prize in the Social Sciences. Brett's dissertation is entitled, “The Architecture of the Priority Map Used to Guide Visual Attention.” Brett’s dissertation advisor is Professor Andrew Hollingworth. Professors Cathleen Moore and Shaun Vecera also supported his nomination for this award. Brett joins a very long list of PhD students in Psychological and Brain Sciences who have been recipients of this top university honor for their dissertation work.
