Dr. Isaac Petersen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and the Iowa Neuroscience Institute, has received a five-year $2.1M grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. This project is devoted to investigating how parenting practices, neural processes, and cognitive control processes influence children’s school readiness in the transition from preschool to school entry.
