Congratulations to Professors Susan Lutgendorf, Ed Wasserman, and Mark Blumberg on being named American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) fellows. AAAS is the world’s largest general-scientific society and publisher of the journal Science.
They join 4 other University of Iowa faculty members as well as 557 "scientists, engineers, and innovators spanning 24 scientific disciplines who are being recognized for their scientifically and socially distinguished achievements. The honorees will be celebrated later this year during an in-person gathering when it is feasible from a public health and safety perspective."
