Our Collective Brains — a program created in Psychological and Brain Sciences and organized by graduate students Mary Aldugom and Tobin Dykstra — has been selected for the 2019-20 Diversity Catalyst Award by the University’s Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. 

Our Collective Brains provides support and guidance to under-represented and first-generation UI undergraduates.

The Diversity Catalyst Award honors individuals, organizations, and departments at the University of Iowa who have gone above-and-beyond to engage in distinctive and innovative initiatives that have promoted an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community.
