• Neural Circuitry for Motor Learning

Lab Director: Prof. John H. Freeman

We study the neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory. The main focus of our research is on neural circuit interactions necessary for learning and memory retrieval. Graduate students in our lab are in the Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Program in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences or the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program.  We also have undergraduate research assistants from the psychology and neuroscience majors. Please contact Prof. Freeman if you are interested in joining the lab (john-freeman@uiowa.edu).
