Michaela Cuneo Receives Outstanding Student Abstract Award from Society of Behavioral Medicine
The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences is pleased to announce that Michaela Cuneo has been selected as the recipient of the Outstanding Student Abstract Award from the Society of Behavioral Medicine Cancer Special Interest Group, which recognizes excellence in behavioral science.
Her award-winning abstract title is Oxytocin: A novel biomarker related to inflammation and quality of life in ovarian cancer. This research was recognized as making a profound impact on the field, with endless opportunities for future research endeavors. Michaela's dissertation is supervised by Professor Susan Lutgendorf.
