Dr. Jimmy Dooley wins Outstanding Early Investigator Award

Dr. Jimmy Dooley, a Research Scientist in the laboratory of Professor Mark Blumberg, was selected to receive the Outstanding Early Investigator Award from the Sleep Research Society. This award recognizes his 2021 paper, “Movements during sleep reveal the developmental emergence of a cerebellar dependent internal model in motor thalamus,” published in Current Biology. The award will be presented at the 36th Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, to be held this June in Charlotte, North Carolina.
