Alex Tiriac Receives 2016 International Society for Developmental Psychobiology Dissertation Award
The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences is pleased to announce that Alex Tiriac has been selected to receive the 2016 International Society for Developmental Psychobiology Dissertation Award. This dissertation award honors outstanding scientists early in their careers, and comes with a $1000 prize. Alex completed his dissertation in 2016 under the supervision Professor Mark Blumberg. The title of his dissertation is State-Dependent Processing of Reafference Arising from Self-Generated Movements in Infant Rats. Alex is currently a postdoctoral scholar at UC-Berkeley.
