    Our new study in Neurobiology of Aging suggests that age-related reductions of phasic autonomic excitability after errors indexes difficulties in their detection. Study authored by Jan, Kylie, & Andrew Hollingworth (UI Psychology). Find it here. Data available under "Open Science".

    The Wessel Lab welcomes 2 new members in May: Qi-Yang Nie joins as Post-Doc (Ph.D. from LMU Munich, M.S. from Chinese Academy of Sciences), Ben Rangel (B.Sc . from Southern Oregon, McNair scholar) turns from rotation student to full-time Neuroscience Ph.D. student!

  • Alec receives ICRU fellowship

    Alec Mather was selected as an Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) summer fellowship. This fellowship was previously granted to both Kylie (2016) and Isabella (2017), and has led to two great research projects conducted by our undergraduate researchers - including one publication in J Neuro. Thank you to the ICRU and congratulations to Alec!
